An extra large airplant stole the show in this bouquet, as it was accented with seasonal dahlias, salvia, and strawflower. The trailing vine of blooming clematis was a perfect finishing touch giving this shape such elegant drama!

For the airplant boutonnieres, I chose locally grown strawflower to accent. The dry texture of the strawflower & the pointed petals truly felt like the floral equivalent of the airplants! Instead of bouquets, the bridesmaids held small fans with an airplant and clematis vine affixed to the bottom. The fans came in handy for the sunny ceremony!

Emphasizing the earthy aesthetic, we focused on greenery and small blooms to

compliment the succulents & airplants incorporated on the reception tables. I searched for textural elements that would still add a pop of color. Elements like Bluebeard, Salvia, Thistle, and Eupatorium did the trick!

The small wood container was a nod to the beautiful exposed beams all throughout the renovated barn reception room.  I had the opportunity to source a majority of the florals from a local, woman-owned flower farm in New Jersey, and that was the best gift I could give to this earth loving bride!

From the Bride:

" I can't thank you enough for your hard work and bringing so much thought and creativity and beauty to our wedding...  I loved how every centerpiece was different from the next, but had the same theme. And my bouquet was just stunning. I'm still getting compliments on it. You are truly talented and this is clearly your calling. " - Chloe
