Kicking Off Spring at The Roundhouse in Beacon, NY

Early April at The Roundhouse in Beacon, New York means one thing: spring in full color.

With coral charm peonies at their peak and the day beautifully captured by Clean Plate Pictures, this wedding was the perfect way to begin our season.

Spring Flowers at Their Absolute Peak

Coral charm peonies are one of the first varieties to bloom, and they were bold and fully open for this early April design.

They pair so naturally with pops of yellow — the tones complement each other beautifully and pull forward the soft yellow center of the peony. Pink and yellow create such a strong base for a happy, colorful palette.

From there, we built it out with fresh whites, soft peaches, and touches of blue and purple for that organic, garden-style feel. Bright, confident, and layered — but still refined.

We paired the peonies with other springtime favorites like double daffodils, delicate spray allium, fringe tulips, and our staple ranunculus, fully leaning into colorful garden blooms at their peak.

It felt like spring showed up right on time.

The Reception Tables at The Roundhouse

The reception design carried that same bold, garden-inspired energy into the room, balanced with soft candlelight to warm everything up.

For the head table, we layered floating and taper candles with a mix of small and large bud vases. Spring flowers popped from each one, feeling full and fresh while still keeping the table open and easy to see across. We also styled in mini spring plants potted in frosted glass, adding extra foliage and a subtle, collected garden feel.

The rest of the tables were round, and we used one of our favorite layouts: a collected mix of bud vases and floating candles. This layout works beautifully on round tables because the flowers are distributed all the way around, every guest gets a moment, and the candlelight feels balanced from every seat. It’s intimate and full without overwhelming the table.

It’s a favorite of ours for good reason.

It was so good to find ourselves at The Roundhouse in Beacon on a perfect spring day, celebrating the way we know best — showcasing the very best flowers the season has to offer. As a North New Jersey wedding florist who loves designing throughout the Hudson Valley, these are the kinds of celebrations that inspire us most: seasonal, intentional, and garden-inspired.
