Indian Lake Trail Club:
Whimsical Winter

Indian Trail Club Winter Wedding | Franklin Lakes, NJ

February gets overlooked. Too cold. Too gray. Too “in-between.”
Not this one.

This couple leaned all the way into the month—rich reds, punchy pinks, and that unapologetic Valentine energy—and turned their wedding at The Lake House at Indian Trail Club in Franklin Lakes, NJ into something that absolutely lit up the room.

The bride’s non-traditional gown set the tone for everything. Layers of embroidered florals in pink, peach, and soft green gave us a built-in palette, and we ran with it. We paired it with bold orangey-red Nina roses—the kind of cheeky red that feels like a perfect 1950s lipstick—then layered in sweet pea, ranunculus, anemone, classic roses, and a wink of unexpected anthurium. Bold pinks, peaches, reds, and a sharp pop of black brought depth and drama to the winter day.

And the details? Vintage in the best way. Ceramic swan statues reminiscent of a grandmother’s mantel. A cake trimmed in doily-inspired piping and bright red cherries. Romantic, nostalgic, and a little playful in the best way.

Proof that winter wedding flowers don’t have to mean all white.

If you’re searching for an Indian Trail Club florist or planning a wedding in Franklin Lakes or Northern New Jersey, we’d love to design something bold, layered, and completely you.
