Marissa came to us with two words: woodland party. We loved it immediately. November in the Hudson Valley already does half the work, so our job was to bring the forest inside the industrial charm of The Roundhouse and make it feel like the best night out you’ve ever had in the woods.

We started with a moody palette of plum ranunculus, brown tulips, purple anemone, and black calla lilies, then tucked them into layers of vines, ferns, branches, and every interesting leaf we could get our hands on. The escort card table was all warm light and little moments, with lamps, taper candles, and votives glowing around clusters of bud vases.

Then came the greenery chuppah. We covered the front from top to bottom in ferns and branches, so Marissa and Matt said their vows in what felt like their own little clearing in the forest.

At dinner, some tables got towering branch arrangements and others got clusters of candlelit bud vases, all sitting on warm brown linen that made the whole room feel cozy and a little bit wild.

And the dance floor? We draped smilax all over the disco ball chandelier from LNJ Lighting, which made it feel like you were partying beneath the trees. Moody, romantic, and built for a really good party.

Got a big idea for your wedding? We design florals for couples across the Hudson Valley and New Jersey who want their day to feel like them. Tell us the vibe and we’ll run with it. Let’s make something beautiful.
